As part of the work for the CHUM, SCV Enercor was responsible for the installation and upgrade of multiple essential technical service networks. The scope of work included the installation of heating, cooling, drainage, condensate, steam, natural gas, and insulation systems (Lot 12049), as well as the supply and installation of medical gas distribution systems in accordance with CHUM specifications (Lot 12055).
SCV also installed drainage, domestic water, heating, steam, and HVAC systems in the mechanical room of levels 17 to 19 of Building B1 (lot 14051), and carried out similar work in Building A, including the service tunnels, the Sky Bridge, and the Édouard Asselin Pavilion (lot 14053).
In Building B2, SCV Enercor completed the full installation of oxygen, medical air, medical vacuum networks, along with associated alarm systems and headwall units (lot 18022). Another major component of the project involved providing essential services to the Édouard Asselin Pavilion, to enable the demolition of Hôpital Saint-Luc. This included the relocation of laboratory air and medical nitrogen systems, installation of new oxygen manifolds, connection of medical gas alarms, and the tie-in of water, steam, and fire protection systems.
SCV Enercor had previously delivered similar projects at the CHUM Research Centre (CRCHUM), strengthening its expertise and partnership with the institution in delivering cutting-edge medical infrastructure.
